Who can forget Daenery's Targaryen's beautiful blue and gold Qarth gown from (season 2) of Game of Thrones. Here is a replicated 

I used one single layer of blue lining for the front and lower back (skirt) of the gown. With the top layer of fabric including the back (train) made from blue yoryu chiffon, which I hand painted on a gold pattern. The gold shoulder plates and belt were carved out of crafting foam and painted gold.
